Nasturtiums – Filming with The One Show

by | Dec 18, 2017 | In the News | 0 comments

A wee while ago I spent a sunny afternoon filming with The One Show and discussing all things nasturtiums! It is going to be aired tonight in advance of The Great British Bake Off’s Botanical week. Nasturtium Capers photographed by lovely Neil White. I am far from being a good cook but the nasturtium bread  (recipe here) from Frances Bissell’s The Floral Baker is a brilliantly simple and tasty recipe and seemed to go down well with big dollops of garlicky nasturtium pesto (recipe here). Certainly presenter Ricky Andalcio and the crew tucked in. We also sent nasturtiums,  garlic chives, begonias, rose petals, and fennel flowers up to The One Show sofa for the presenters to try. What will they think? Any kind of filming or TV work fills me with horror so I shall watch tonight with trepidation and a large nasturtium cocktail! If you see the entire whites of my eyes then feel my pain. Photo from our wedding cocktails menu with Wedding flower cocktails at http://lowergrenofen.co.uk.
