‘Good enough to eat’ – Landlove Magazine

In April a fabulous article appeared about us in Landlove Magazine after a visit by their lovely Editor Anna-Lisa De’Ath.

Nestling in the beautiful Devon countryside near Kentisbeare, lays a very special farm. At Maddocks Farm Organics they grow 70-80 kinds of flowers, but they don’t make their way into bouquets, these flowers are destined to be eaten as part of their award-winning salads. Back in 2002, after watching too many episodes of ‘Escape to River Cottage’, Jan and Stuart Billington decided to uproot their family from London and move to the countryside for a slice of the good life.
