Dark and Stormy Cocktail with Tagetes Flowers.
Cocktails with edible flowers are stunning and a ‘Dark and Stormy’ is perfect for a late summer wedding when there is just a hint of autumn in the air. Or for almost any other time when you need to treat yourself – we’re nothing if not generous here!
Decorate with marmalade flavoured tagetes flowers.
2 oz measure of dark, dark rum
3 oz measure of ginger beer (Crabbie’s alcoholic if you are so inclined and the occasion warrants it)
a squeeze of lime juice
To decorate – Tagetes flowers and strands of lime rind
Shake in a cocktail shaker over ice.
Pour and garnish with some strands of lime rind and marmalade flavoured tagetes flowers.
