Edible flowers for Cocktails – COLLECTION ONLY

More than 3,000 of our edible flowers were used to garnish the cocktails at the premiere of the James Bond Movie Spectre. We like to think that if they are good enough for James Bond’s martini then they are pretty spot on. They are also featured in Brides magazine as a ‘budding’ trend.

The Cocktail Box contains 100 flowers.

This contains three separate punnets of different types of flowers – making up 100+ smaller edible flowers (or large petals in the case of rose petals) in total suitable for garnishing mixed cocktails and other summer drinks and for making flower ice cubes and lollies. It also contains some seasonal edible leaves perfect for decorating cocktails e.g. thyme sprigs; lemon verbena, mint, lemon balm stems; or fennel fronds or for adding to your ice cubes.

If you know what cocktails you have in mind when ordering this box then let us know and we’ll find your cocktail its perfect petally partner. Or if you want us to work to a colour palate as long as its not teal!

Also let us know if you are using tiny flutes or vast goblets so we can get the scale right. Small flowers are also great for making floral ice cubes.

THIS IS A VERY SAD DECISION BUT IT IS SIMPLY BECAUSE DPD (AND OTHER COURIERS AS WELL) ARE UTTERLY UNRELIABLE. THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR GETTING YOUR BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS TO YOU RESTS WITH ME. OBVIOUSLY ONCE THEY ARE CAREFULLY PACKAGED UP WITH CHILLERS AND LEAVE HERE AND ARE IN THE COURIER VAN ON A NEXT DAY BY MIDDAY TIMED DELIVERY THEN THIS IS OUT OF MY CONTROL. IF THE COURIER FAILS TO DELIVER ON TIME THEN THEY REFUND ME LESS THAN £4. (THE COST OF DOWNGRADING THE DELIVERY TIME TO ‘SOMETIME’ THE FOLLOWING WORKING DAY). THERE IS NO COMPENSATION OR REFUND FOR THE VALUE OF FRESH FOOD OR FLOWERS. I AM LEFT WITH THE FULL COST OF REFUNDING YOU – THE NOW VERY UNHAPPY AND STRESSED CUSTOMER (AND IT BREAKS MY HEART TO LET PEOPLE DOWN ON SUCH AN IMPORTANT DAY) OR TO TRY AND PICK AND SEND AGAIN LAST MINUTE. BOTH OF WHICH LEAVES ME AND YOU IN TEARS AND STRESSED AND SECONDLY ME MASSIVELY OUT OF POCKET.IT ONLY TAKES A FEW OF THESE TO IMPACT HUGELY ON THE FINANCES OF A SMALL BUSINESS.
