Our seasonal edible flower selection is a collection of 50 small and medium flowers that are the very best of what is available on the day. A selection of sweet or very mild flavoured flowers which are perfect for garnishing cakes, popping on puds or floating in your cocktails. This box contains a mix of sizes and colours. The images are for illustration purposes only as the content changes with the seasons.

By summer we are starting to sneak some of the larger flowers into the boxes and more fragrance. A base of fragrant rose, phlox, dahlia maybe an abutilon or two as well as the usual smaller lovelies. These are interspersed wtih lavender, flowering herbs and fragrant leaves.

THIS IS A VERY SAD DECISION BUT IT IS SIMPLY BECAUSE DPD (AND OTHER COURIERS AS WELL) ARE UTTERLY UNRELIABLE. THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR GETTING YOUR BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS TO YOU RESTS WITH ME. OBVIOUSLY ONCE THEY ARE CAREFULLY PACKAGED UP WITH CHILLERS AND LEAVE HERE AND ARE IN THE COURIER VAN ON A NEXT DAY BY MIDDAY TIMED DELIVERY THEN THIS IS OUT OF MY CONTROL. IF THE COURIER FAILS TO DELIVER ON TIME THEN THEY REFUND ME LESS THAN £4. (THE COST OF DOWNGRADING THE DELIVERY TIME TO ‘SOMETIME’ THE FOLLOWING WORKING DAY). THERE IS NO COMPENSATION OR REFUND FOR THE VALUE OF FRESH FOOD OR FLOWERS. I AM LEFT WITH THE FULL COST OF REFUNDING YOU – THE NOW VERY UNHAPPY AND STRESSED CUSTOMER (AND IT BREAKS MY HEART TO LET PEOPLE DOWN ON SUCH AN IMPORTANT DAY) OR TO TRY AND PICK AND SEND AGAIN LAST MINUTE. BOTH OF WHICH LEAVES ME AND YOU IN TEARS AND STRESSED AND SECONDLY ME MASSIVELY OUT OF POCKET.IT ONLY TAKES A FEW OF THESE TO IMPACT HUGELY ON THE FINANCES OF A SMALL BUSINESS.
